IOSH Managing Safely is a flexible new high impact programme which covers all the main health and safety issues, and includes a session tackling the environment too.

The course is designed to provide those with managerial and supervisory positions the appropriate level of knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues to enable them to manage effectively.

Managers are often the key to the health and safety culture of an organisation and together with the directors they set the policy. They organise resources, appoint people, design health and safety management systems, guide supervisors and work with safety representatives. This course will provide the skills needed to carry out these functions and enable managers to influence safety related behaviour and lead by example.

Who is it For?

Managing Safely is a course for managers and supervisors in any sector and any organisation. It’s designed to give managers all they need to know to help them handle health and safety in their teams.

Course Duration

The course lasts for twenty-four hours in total. Managing Safely can be delivered over a full week or on single days.

Certification

Delegates who successfully complete the written and practical assessments at the end of the course are awarded an IOSH certificate in Managing Safely.

IOSH Accredited.
