Course Description
Increasingly health and safety is now widely accepted as a board level performance issue and there has been a growing focus on the health and safety responsibilities of directors and senior managers in all organisations, culminating in the introduction of the new offence of Corporate manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007, where an offence will be committed where failings of the organisation’s senior management are a substantial element in any gross breach of a duty of care which results in a persons death.
