Accredited Health & Safety Training Courses

The Health and Safety Executive ( HSE) recommends that all first aiders refresh their knowledge annually, in addition the re-qualifying every three years.

This course has been developed to help both first aid at work and Emergency First Aid at Work candidates maintain their basic first aid skills and update their knowledge.

Employees who are certified First Aiders must complete this course within 3 years of being accredited in order to retain their certificate.

Course Content

This re-visits topics covered on the First Aid at Work course, including:

First Aid update
Recovery Position
When and how to use CPR
Choking
Bleeding
Shock

Who is it For?

This course is for persons holding an approved First Aid at Work Qualification.

Course Duration

Half day.

Certification

Delegates successfully completing all five sections of the assessment record will be awarded the certificate.

CIEH, Ofqual.
