First Aid Refresher Course - Health & Safety Training

Course Description
This is a two-day refresher course suitable for current First Aiders who need to re-qualify to maintain their First Aid at Work certificate.

Employees who are certified First Aiders must complete this course within 3 years of being accredited in order to retain their certificate.

Course Content
This re-visits topics covered on the First Aid at Work course, including:

  • When and how to use CPR.
  • Know how to treat bleeds, burns and unconsciousness.
  • What to do when treating medical conditions.
  • Knowing what to do when handing over to the emergency services.
  • When and how to put somebody into the recovery position.
  • Responsibilities for accident reporting.

Who is it For?
Those who have a responsibility within the workplace for administering first aid at work and who is already a qualified trained First Aider.

Course duration
Two days.
