Course Description
Fire can devastate a business and leads to deaths and serious injuries every year, many fires are caused by carelessness. Fire Safety understanding for all employees is an essential element
of effective management. All staff have a part to play in preventing fire in the workplace and this course will help raise awareness.

The course can be tailored to business and individual needs to make the learning experience relevant and fit for purpose.

Course Content

  • Causes of fire.
  • Assessment of fire risks.
  • Fire prevention.
  • Preventing the spread of fire.
  • Safe evacuation (company procedures).
  • The importance of good housekeeping.
  • Choosing the correct extinguisher.
  • Consequences of fire.
  • Benefits of good fire precautions.

This course is designed for all employees.

Course duration
Typically two to three hours.

Certification
Delegates will be awarded a NorthgateArinso Employer Services certificate of attendance.
