CIEH Level 2 Award Principles of Manual Handling- Health & Safety Training

Course Description
CIEH Level 2 Award Health and Safety in the Workplace This qualification introduces employees to the hazards and risks involved in manual handling activities and outlines what to expect from a manual handling assessment. It will enable employees to
develop safer manual handling techniques for use in the workplace.

The qualification will benefit anyone who has to carry out manual handling activities and allow employees to look carefully at their own work activities and contribute to the development of safer
working practices in co-operation with supervisors and managers.

Course Content

  • The process of manual handling in the workplace
  • Manual handling injuries and the activities which cause them
  • Manual handling assessment and control options
  • Responsibilities imposed by the manual Handling Operations Regulations

Who is it For?
This course is designed for all employees.

Course duration
Typically half a day.

Certification
Delegates who successfully complete the 30 multiple choice question examination paper will be awarded the level 2 certificate.

Accreditation
CIEH, QCA Accredited.
