Course Description
Employers are responsible for providing a workplace which is safe and without risk to health including appropriate systems and methods for safe work activities. Employees have a vital role to
play in this equation. They need the correct knowledge, attitude and skills which demands appropriate training in the basics of health and safety as well as specific training for individual tasks.
Good health and safety standards rely on employers and employees working together to reduce risk and prevent workplace accidents. This course is designed to ensure that employees are made aware of their own safety and that of others and focuses attention on the behavioural issues that lead to accidents.

Who is it For?
This course is aimed at all employees in any industry and will provide an understanding of health and safety that will enable them to co-operate with their employer and contribute to company health and safety management systems.
Course duration
Typically six hours.
Certification
Delegates who successfully complete the multiple choice exam will be awarded a CIEH level 2 certificate ‘Health and Safety in the Workplace’.

CIEH, QCA Accredited.
