CIEH Level 2 Award Food Safety - Health & Safety Training

Course Description
CIEH Level 2 Award Health and Safety in the Workplace This course has been designed to give first tier workers an appreciation of the fundamentals of good food hygiene practice. The course gives all food handling staff the basic training and essential knowledge as required by the Food Safety (GeneralFood Hygiene) Regulations 1995.

  • The law
  • Food safety hazards
  • Refrigeration, chilling and cold holding of foods
  • Cooking, hot holding and reheating of foods
  • Food handling
  • Principles of safe food storage
  • Cleaning
  • Food premises and equipment

Who is it For?
All food handling staff and those wishing to gain employment in food handling.

Course duration
Six hours.

Accreditation
CIEH, QCA Accredited.
