Practical techniques to help you become more assertive

It is not alwasy easy to manage interactions with others in a way that ensures both parties feel respected, trusted and positive throughout.

This workshop will give you the opportunity to examine the ways in which your own behaviour and beliefs influence the way you deal with people. It will also equip you with practical techniques to help you become more assertive.

  • Understanding what the difference is between agressive, passive and assertive behaviours
  • Understanding the importance of rights and responsiblities
  • How to use body language effectively to reach better outcomes
  • How to make and refuse requests
  • How to give and receive feedback in a constructive manner
  • Techniques for becoming more assertive and resolving conflict
