Arthur Padgetts are a plumbing company based in Nelson with a long history of providing quality plumbing services in East Lancashire. The first business bearing the Padgett name was set up in 1924 by Arthur Padgett, grandfather of the two executive directors in the company today, Edward and Colin. Over eight decades later the business has retained its position as a driving force in the industry and continues to demonstrate its faith in training through apprenticeship.

The company, with a team of six qualified and two apprentices, provides services to domestic customers and an increasing number of landlords and industrial and retail organisations.

Earlier this year shortly after becoming a client of NorthgateArinso Employer Services (NAES), the company needed support in obtaining their CHAS accreditation as quickly as possible and so called the 24hr Advice Line. Later that day a Health & Safety consultant went to see them on the premises and assembled all the correct socumentation for submission of the CHAS application. Within hours of this being sent, their application was approved.
