Course Description
The introduction of the Age Discrimination legislation is considered to be the most significant piece of employment legislation since the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 was introduced. Discriminating
on the grounds of age can be costly to an organisation.
This new law, and the fact that a recent survey showed that by 2010, almost 40% of the workforce will be aged 45 or older, highlights the importance in proactively embracing this important piece of employment legislation.
